How many Handheld computers does your building have?
We have 128 handhelds.
How are Handhelds stored?
The handhelds are stored on carts. Each cart holds 32 handhelds.
Where are Handhelds stored?
2 carts are stored in the media center. Another 2 carts are stored in the science rooms. These handhelds are designated for the use in science classes only.
How are Handhelds powered and transported?
Each carts is equiped with power stations and wireless access.
How are Handhelds signed out?
There is no procedure in place yet, however, there will be a excel sign out sheet located on the UMS staff drive. We use a similar sign out sheet for the use of our laptops.
What instructional Handheld software is available to use? Categorize as Free Handheld Software or Purchased Handheld Software by using the Insert Table icon to create a chart:

What management Handheld software is available to use?
Palm Desktop, Palm Quick Install - UMS has the Grant Street software that allows you to create an image for the Palms and manage the programs.
